Holehird mansion sits high on a rolling hillside at the southern end of the Troutbeck Valley, about one mile from Windermere Village.

The home is set amidst sloping terraced lawns and formal gardens which are bordered by trees and shrubs, most of which are easily accessible by wheelchair.

From this vantage point, stunning views can be seen of Lake Windermere, rugged mountains and the surrounding countryside of fields and fells with grazing sheep.

The first thing you will notice on your

approach to Holehird is the magnificent

home set amidst the wonderfully

maintained Lakeland Horticultural

Society gardens with the backdrop

rolling hillsides and rugged mountains

for which the Lake District is world famous for.

Once inside the home itself you will appreciate the splendour of the architecture of the home and its spacious areas, all of which are accessible by wheelchair.
